The Directorate of Clinical Services is responsible for the overall coordination, governance, and delivery of high-quality patient-centered clinical care. The directorate ensures that all clinical departments operate in line with national standards, professional ethics, and hospital policies, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes and safety.

Internal Medicine
Provides comprehensive diagnosis and management of adult medical conditions, including chronic and acute illnesses.
Emergency Medicine
Offers immediate assessment, stabilization, and treatment of patients with life-threatening conditions.
Outpatient Services
Delivers ambulatory care, consultations, follow-up services, and referral coordination.
Obstetrics and Gynecology
Provides maternal health services, reproductive care, and management of gynecological conditions.
Pediatrics and Child Health
Focuses on preventive and curative health services for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents.
Surgical Departments
Offers elective and emergency surgical interventions across various specialties.
Pharmacy
Ensures safe, effective, and rational use of medicines and medical supplies.
Diagnostic Laboratory
Provides accurate and timely laboratory investigations to support clinical decision-making.
Radiology
Delivers imaging services for diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment planning.
Medical Records
Manages patient information systems, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and accessibility of clinical data.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and professional oversight for all clinical services within the hospital.
- Advise the Executive Director and senior management on all clinical and patient care matters.
- Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered clinical services in accordance with national and international standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, guidelines, operational plans, and budgets.
- Oversee performance management, monitoring, and evaluation of clinical departments using key performance indicators.
- Promote continuous professional development and clinical competency among healthcare staff.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, standard operating procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise, mentor, and appraise Heads of Clinical Departments and Units.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director in line with hospital objectives.
