The Directorate of Nursing Services is responsible for the leadership, coordination, and delivery of high-quality nursing and supportive care services. The directorate ensures patient safety, professional nursing practice, and effective support services through adherence to standards, policies, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Nursing Services
Provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care across all clinical departments and units.
Sterilization Services
Ensures effective cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of medical equipment to prevent infections.
Housekeeping Services
Maintains a clean, safe, and hygienic hospital environment that supports quality patient care.
Nutrition Services
Provides safe, balanced, and therapeutic meals to support patient recovery and staff wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and professional oversight for all nursing and support services under the directorate.
- Advise the Executive Director and senior management on matters related to nursing care and patient support services.
- Ensure delivery of safe, ethical, and high-quality nursing care in line with national standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, implement, and monitor nursing policies, operational plans, budgets, and staffing frameworks.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing services.
- Promote continuous professional development, mentorship, and competency-based training for nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with nursing guidelines, standard operating procedures, and accreditation requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, and appraise Nurses-in-Charge and unit leaders within the directorate.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director in support of hospital objectives.
