The Directorate of Business Development and Planning provides strategic leadership in institutional growth, sustainability, and long-term planning. The directorate coordinates business initiatives, infrastructure development, and planning processes to support efficient service delivery and the hospital’s strategic objectives.

Supports hospital operations through agricultural production and sustainable food supply initiatives.
Technical Services
Manages maintenance, engineering, utilities, and technical infrastructure of hospital facilities.
Estate
Oversees management, development, and utilization of hospital land and physical assets.
Planning
Coordinates strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation, and institutional development plans.
Transport
Manages hospital fleet, transportation logistics, and mobility services for staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for business development, planning, and technical support services.
- Develop and implement business strategies, policies, and operational plans aligned with hospital goals.
- Prepare and manage departmental strategic, tactical, and operational plans, including annual budgets.
- Ensure efficient utilization of institutional resources and promote sustainable business practices.
- Ensure compliance with business ethics, regulatory requirements, and institutional policies.
- Supervise, mentor, and appraise heads of departments and staff under the directorate.
- Advise the Executive Director on matters related to business development, infrastructure, and planning.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Director in support of hospital objectives.
